Detox to Treat Fibromyalgia
When symptoms flare, Fibromyalgia can literally stop a person in their tracks. Dealing with this debilitating disease is not fun; chronic pain, muscle stiffness, and fatigue are some of the symptoms you may be trying to function day to day with.
We list numerous articles here on how diet and exercise can help, there are certain detoxifying measures that can really help with treating fibro symptoms.
The detox plan is fairly simple, just be aware of what you eat and learn what food to avoid during your detox. Fibromyalgia detox starts with a mix of herbs brewed into a tea that will remove toxins from your body. These herbs are Echinacea, fenugreek, and ginger. Brew them together into a tea and these herbs with honey as a sweetener will begin a natural detox when consumed daily.
We also encourage incorporating broccoli, cauliflower, beets, onions, artichokes, garlic, sprouts, and any red or green vegetable to help continued toxin removal and encourage the body to react to the new diet. Your symptoms of Fibromyalgia should start decreasing because of the lack of toxins and the beneficial vitamins and nutrients that are customized for the disease.
Things to avoid are processed sugars, white flour, saturated fats, and preservatives. It is also important to cut down on dairy and egg products and eat more white meats in place of red.
With a strong commitment to this detox, your body will begin to rebuild and function with less pain and fatigue.

I can relate to your wife I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and it’s horrible.
Hello Elizabeth,
Thank you for your comment. Sorry you are having to deal with this horrible condition. I hope some of the articles here can help some. Stay Strong!
Congratulations Ryan. I am in awe of the fact that as a husband of someone that suffers from fibro and not the actual suffer has started this blog. My ex husband could not deal with me having fibro and divorced me after 20 years of marriage. He just couldn’t or wouldn’t understand. For me living in Johannesburg, South Africa I need as much information as possible. I have a wonderful doctor but we are extremely limited as so few people know about Fibromyalgia.
