A Few Quick Diet Changes to Help with Fibromyalgia Joint Pain
Hello MFD’ers!
I wanted share a few quick diet tips with you today. Most of you know I spend everyday researching the best information on fibro treatments, diets, and medicines I can find, so I can share them with YOU! I have been seeing countless reports on forums, facebook, blog comments and really everywhere online of people having LESS JOINT PAIN after sticking to a raw-food vegan diet. This includes vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds.
It might seem hard at first to switch full circle to a raw-food vegan diet so I wanted to share 14 items to work on eliminated or at least decreasing in your diet. Try it for 30-60 days and see if you notice a difference, you might be surprised!
Start by eliminating/decreasing the amount of these foods in your diet:
Soda (diet too!)
Chocolate ( Although, I have heard 1 small piece of Dark Chocolate a day is good for you. Key to that is ONE 😉
Coffee ( I Recommend switching to Green Tea. It only has 1/4 of caffeine, but the other ingredients make up for it and increase your energy )
Alcohol ( For some 1 glass of red wine a day is healthy as well, but for 60 days lets try no Alcohol and see how you feel )
High fat diary
Gluten ( Gluten free diets are huge right now! I have gone gluten less myself, mostly gluten free except very seldom I cheat. It has helped me personally a lot and I lost some weight )
White sugar
White flour
Trans Fat ( You already know this, Terrible, terrible, terrible for you _
Fried Foods ( Duh, right? )
Red Meats ( If you need meat, try to get organic, grass feed, lean meat, and eat only about a palm full at a time )
Nutrasweet
Saccharine
Remember to go at your own pace, do the best you can do! Start eliminated one food at a time, one day at a time. If you have a bad day today, try again tomorrow and make corrections along the way in your diet.
