Old Fashioned Chicken Soup Recipe
The recipe is a great Fibromyalgia Recipe that is gluten free. No Noodles in this recipe, but if you wanted to add rice or rice noodles to turn it into Chicken noodle soup that would still be gluten free.
Ingredients Needed:
5 cups of chicken stock (or water)
1/2 celeriac root, diced
2 carrots, cut into thin rounds
1 onion, peeled and diced
1 small red potato, diced
Organic, free range chicken pieces with bones (wings, drumsticks)
2 tsp. herbed sea salt
1/4 cup parsley
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
Bring your water, onion, potato, carrots, celeriac root, chicken pieces and herbed sea salt to a boil. Then Reduce flame, cover and simmer for 35 minutes. Add parsley and garlic and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes.
